Most Anticipated Movies 2009

There are plenty to look forward to this year in the movie industry. I had so far watched 2 really good movies this year, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button & Slumdog Millionaire. I prefer the latter though, it's fascinating just to think of the simple script to a wonderful movie. And next week I will be attending the premiere of 12 Rounds starring John Cena, however I do not put a high hope on it.

Here are the list of movies for the rest of the year that I am anticipated of;

Nothing much to expect in August, September, October & November '09 though. In December 2009, perhaps Sherlock Holmes starring Downey Jr. which I failed to get the official trailer as yet on Youtube.

I have yet to find a date for my premiere next week, anyone interested? ;)

The South of Border 国境之南

Watched Cape No. 7 last night, first time watching a Taiwanese movie in fact. Storyline on a relationships 60 years ago & present. I got to admit I am touched.

60 years past, he passed away with his memories. It's beautiful. I am also captivated with the meaning of the main song of the movie titled "The South of Border". I googled and thanks to Echowillow, for the translation of the song. As I hummed along, I felt warm. Perhaps it's good to have the hope and to continue the journey.

Why So Serious?

Went for midnight show for The Dark Knight last night. It is indeed the best Batman movies ever and the best movie I had watched this year. The details and the storyline are simply superb.

However, Batman's role was overshadowed by Heath Ledger playing the Joker. I do think Heath deserves an Oscar for his role in the movie. He however passed away due to some overdose complications.

Unlike many other superheroes movies where most of the bad guys conclusion we have very much expected it to be, but Joker is so unpredictable, as if you wanting for more and more and more to come from him. And it just felt good that this 2 guys fighting each other without much usage of supernatural power or whatsoever, it is so much of strategy and something like in the Chinese movie Infernal Affairs where in the end you do not know what is coming, who is bad and who is good, that kind of suspense.

"You know why I got this scars?" asked Joker. His voice, his laughters. Seldom in a movie you will see the villain overshadow the hero. This is one of them. And I really do not mind for a second watch. Anyone?

Mike In Real Life

Firstly, happy labor day to all. Last night was one of the best night ever spent, I did not know that in Cheras there is a place nicknamed "Little Genting", an indeed a lovely evening spent with someone I am in love with. Oh no, I am not attached as yet, it is in the progress, I was seen by many including her that I have not completely erase my past memories, something I would not want to debate and will allow God to arrange for me.

I hardly write about relationship these days, perhaps it had been a while since I last really "in love". I found someone though, someone I had known for years, someone I felt very comfortable with, someone I miss right now while doing this post and someone I think I would grow old with.

And... hmm... it's labor day today, I am home, watching few DVDs and resting. She is at work at the moment, I hope everything goes well at her side. And there is this movie I just finished, Dan In Real Life, a comedy I highly recommend.



For those who had taken leave for tomorrow, enjoy the long break ya. For those in love, love is not just feeling, love is also about ability.

Dear Jane,

What I told you the other night was true words about my feelings for you. I swear none of those words were made up by any chance or whatsoever. How I wish to get drunk with you and singing & dancing on the counter to the tune of "Bennie & The Jets". How I wish we could have kiss & make love for the first time and deep down I want to know if we have anything in common. I do hope that one day, somehow you will realize that you love me and run to me and we will live happily ever after like I always told you bout the fairy tales ending. The day will come.

Lim Peh, Lim Bu, Din Nau Bu

Today lim peh wanna take a break writing about the phone. Quite a number of lim peh's friends making noise already saying this blog gonna be another liewcf already. No lah, lim peh excited mar new phone, sure write more lor, OK now lim peh write another thing can? Don't angry lim peh k.

Since it was a national holiday yesterday, lim peh went to the much talked about "Ah Long Pte. Ltd" with one chio bu. Overall, lim peh found that the story line not really good but if you wanna have a good laugh, lim peh highly recommend you but be warned, you must understand Hokkien in order to enjoy the jokes like lim peh did.



Day before lim peh also went for a Thai movie, "Deadly Ghost". If you like Nang Nak & Shutter, lim peh guarantee you sure like this wan one. Actually lim peh's date suggested this movie wan, she actually very scared wan, so sat beside her, not easy lor. Lim peh's shoulder kena cubit like hell. Nabeh, her fingernails damn blardy long, luckily lim peh got a lot of flesh to spare. Overall, lim peh also enjoy lar.

And now, those lowyat & mypdacafe kaki going to complain d, saying lim peh write too much about movie. Sorry lor, lim peh never forget you all wan. Lim peh wanna share some cun pictures taken with the KS20. Although it is not Schneider Konek (I dunno how to spell lar) lens, still no complain about the pictures, lim peh dunno how to use Photochop wan, so don't accuse lim peh edit k. R.A.M.B.O

I got a new facelift on my blog, it took a while for me to get it right though. Now everyone would know what's my favourite color but no worry princess-princess sekalian, my brain still very much not in this color :P

I am gonna walk down the memory lane a bit today. Do you have a hero when you were much younger? One hero that really accompanying at least my growing years, nonetheless Mr. Stallone himself playing Rambo. Remember the one man show killing rampage that made Jackie Chan another sissy on its category :P

Yeah, First Blood was here when I am about 4 years of age that was back in 1982 and I believe many readers of mine were not even born then, see how old uncle Mike is :)



Then we have First Blood : Part 2 and followed by Rambo 3. I still remember, pimping the gaming arcades back then (20cents only) and we had a game made popular by Rambo also.



Introducing Green Beret, I am sure many of my peers played this before and I once landed myself in the police station because underage mar that time.



And peeps, guess how old is Sylvester Stallone now? Whopping 61 years of age peeps, now who said man's life starts at 40? And my utmost salute to Mr. Stallone aka Rambo aka Rocky, introducing John Rambo set for release in 2008.



Call me unromantic, which princess wanna dating with me for John RAMBO??? :P
