Since my return from Hong Kong, there are massively a lot of things happening. Things that sometimes I myself can't define whether it is good or bad. But as I grow older, I tend to see things in a more positive manner, my family also can see that change in me, even my siblings commented that my temper changed dramatically.
A lot of things inside me, I am glad that I have 2 best buddies to listen to me. They seem to be like my pillars of my life now. And for my family, of late, I managed to handle certain problems wisely which I do not feel comfortable to share it here, but there ain't much concern now because we managed to pull it through.
Secondly, as predicted, I am romantically linked with someone out of the country. Something which I will not deny but I had recently calling it off because it will be better for both parties. Like I mentioned in my earlier post, every decision must be justifiable and must be processed through sanity. Without sanity, every decision will be impulsive and the consequences will be bad (that is at least how I feel). For meantime, we both had decided to chill off a bit, let's see what the future will be. I guess this has much or less answer a lot of questions posted by caring friends who want to know my relationship status :)
Thirdly, I am still working on my project right now and will be back to Hong Kong probably after CNY to conclude it. Then my plan, I might go into employment again depending on offers that are coming. I am glad that there are offers coming in at this point of time, but to me, the right offer & position will be the key factor for me to join into employment again (keeping fingers crossed)
And of late, I have few friends who ended their relationships. One is my schoolmate buddy, another is a close friend who I had been lending my ears to her. I had been thru that stage, it is not easy and trust me, everyone can pull through it. I am always there for you people. Love you!
Ciao for now...

On Blogging & Friends
I had recently received 2 special notes from 2 different friends on how I had inspired them to start their own blog. I am grateful for those comments and to be frank I have never thought that I had made such impact on blogging especially among my friends.
Come to think about it, I am now entering my 5th year of blogging and it had been the better platform for me to express myself better. And through blogging, I had made many new friends, be it readers or people I met during some gathering. The name MikeMmery had been a part of me, people who know me through here would recognize me by that name although going back my 600 over postings here, the name itself had a significant meaning to me, but I had since moved on.
Introducing The PurpleV Heart authored by Cynthia Chen. In fact, the chemistry I had with her is mainly through the cyberworld, despite that, she got to know me better through my blog and had been at times a very very loyal listener to me on my very personal stuff. Thanks for the nice words you dropped on facebook and I am glad that you started your own blog as that will draw me closer to your world. And babe, I MISS YOU!!!
And yesterday a very dear ex-colleague of mine, Ms. Seow, had started her own blog as well, check out Blog with miee. And Ms. Seow, thanks for giving me the chance to be part of LG Life's Good Blog family! Thanks for listening to my suggestions and put LG Electronics as the first electronics company in Malaysia to start its own blog, it's a feat that I am very very proud of! And keep the blogging spirit alive ya!
Time to go, till then... c u peeps soon!

Ma Semaine
Ma Semaine is french word meaning my week. Many things happened this week and I will share as much as I can remember;
Will I fall in love again?
- Work results been satisfying - 2 mega projects secured, another few potentials coming along but ain't really happy with the unreasonable and messy reportings that I need to do. Shall set sight on opportunities available.
- Confirm my Bali trip early July. A few more trips yet to be confirmed - Chiangmai in September & Hong Kong in November.
- I fell in love with someone, that someone showing no interest, the end, full-stop. Time to look forward!
- Met my sister & her new bf. Nice guy and plenty to learn from him.
- Met up with my cousin and got to know a new banker friend, Suzanne.
- Watched the stage show BreakOut, my rating: 11/10. Also watched Terminator Salvation, nice movie, nice camera skill.
- House hunting - settle down with Kelana Mahkota for the time being, doing all the necessary now, agent, booking, loan, etc, blah blah blah.
- Another girl telling me her breakup story. I always think I am a good listener, 3 girls told me their breakup stories this year alone.
- Met up with my best buddy who is residing in Japan. Congrats on your new job bro! Ate a lot this week with him, drank the most expensive red wine with him accompanied with Bak Zhang (chinese meat dumpling). Had great time catching the old days. If AirAsia flies there, I will be there next year!
- Officially hooked with Facebook whenever I have the freetime, this is not a good sign.
Will I fall in love again?

Updates From Dataran Pahlawan, Melaka
Yes, I am a Malacca boy, had my primary & secondary education here before I further my studies in Rahman College, Kuala Lumpur.
Looking back, how Malacca had changed. Since my parents are residing in Malacca, I make it a point to come back as often as I can to be with them. This weekend is my second trip back this month and it's always a pleasure to stay away from the hustle & bustle of city life to rejuvenate myself in my hometown.
Woke up at half past 9 this morning, mom prepared home-cooked food. I then sent my car for major repair (burning my pocket again) before following my younger brother & his wife to Dataran Pahlawan (the latest mall in Melaka). While they went off for movie, I decided to stuck my fat ass in Big Apple Donuts & Coffee, surfing, facebooking & blogging.

Thanks for messages, comments & calls after the previous post. Blogging & writing are the best medium to express myself.I just felt the age 30 felt like a crossroad, at times you miss your school mates, at times you will miss you college mates and for single like me, on particular time I miss the girls I am involved with. One of my ex MSNed and encouraged me to pursue the girl I mentioned in my previous post once again.
At this point of time, I still feel the time is not right yet. I had better learn to love myself more before I learn to love others.
Happy weekend and I am taking this opportunity to wish one of my favorite girl a very happy birthday & may all your wishes come true. Happy birthday Nikki! Muacks!!!

And just a teaser, I am getting a new tattoo soon! :)

Public Phone Got Me Thinking
2 days ago, I was having dinner by myself. In fact I am waiting for a friend at a kopitiam nearby, my mobile had been indicating the 'low batt' for quite a while and it died out eventually. And feeling uneasy without a phone, I walked to the nearest public phone available, I looked at the numpads on the public phone and instead of making calls, I made a further unneccessary thinking looking at the public phone.
I had been relying so much on the mobile phone and the contacts. I thought to myself what if I do not have a phone? What if I am in emergency without a phone, who should I contact? Then I start to think of numbers I can remember, screening through the list minus all my family and home contacts, these people listed below in fact had played a significant important role and have a great impact in my life.

Thanks for being part of my life.

Hong Kong Revisited - Thanks Ally & Jo
OK... sad & pathetic week aside, I revisit Hong Kong for the second time this month. This time around was for a business conference & seminar, The Infocomm Asia 2008. LG had a prominent booth this time around showcasing range of commercial LCD & Plasma panels & also the hotel interactive TV.
In between the working days I had, I managed to slot in some time to meet up some of my Malaysian friends who work in Hong Kong. Thanks to Ally & Josie for allocating their precious time to bring me around, had good food & plenty of pictures.
Moving around Hong Kong during November is a pleasure for its nice weather. Average of 16 degree Celcius, it's pretty cooling. Met up with Josie at the Causeway Bay exit C, went for great Shanghainese food and she brought me to Times Square. As Christmas is around the corner, most of the major malls in HKG are up with amazing decors. Pictures ahead.
Had a great 2 hours or so with Josie who bought me some really expensive food stuff in one of the most expensive supermarket in HKG. Thanks Josie for the time.
And after that afternoon, met up with Ally in Tsim Sha Tsui, another Malaysian blogger friend who is working in HKG. We met up with another group of Malaysians who are her colleagues & former colleagues. Went for traditional HKG food which I will post it in another post in near future. And after that we walked around the Harbour City. It has one of the best Christmas decor I had ever seen. The locals mentioned that Christmas is more happening than Chinese New Year there. If you happen to visit HKG this coming month, the Harbour City & Times Square is a must. Pretty pictures ahead.
Ally & Josie - thanks a million for the lovely time in Hong Kong.
I miss you girls & I miss Hong Kong...

Ladies First : Beauty Maker Paradise
A silent reader of mine started her blog. Though silent, she had been a very loyal reader and I am amazed each & every time we meet up, she seems to know a lot through my blog. And here she is, starting her new blog and for a first timer, I thought it is pretty nice, clean & neat.
And this site will definitely be a must stop for all the girls out there. I believe you girls have watch "Ladies First", the information guide hosted by Paulian Lan whose coverage of topics ranging from fashion, beauty to marriage tailor-made for ladies on Astro TVBS Asia channel. Talking about beauty, there is this guy in the show, Kevin Zhou, who shares tips & secrets to beauty & make-up. In a Malaysian ladies forum that I read, many female fans of "Ladies First" are having difficulties looking for the beauty products used by Kevin Zhou in that show.
Ladies, worry no more. Beauty Maker Paradise will be the answer for Kevin's products. Although the mega sales had just ended, visit the site now and until the end of September 2008, additional 10% discount for all products purchased online. Pictures below are some of the products line-up, I am not a beautician so do not ask me what is that product for, just check out the site, it has detailed descriptions of the product in Chinese & English.

So wait no more, paradise awaiting you.
ps: darling cyn, good luck in your new blog & business.

My Salami
I was having dinner with my ex-colleagues & a female friend last night at The Curve. It had been a while since I last meet the bunch. We had great time and like many others who are close to me, they are very interested in my private life, like if I found a gf or not.
D: "So Mike, what's new in your life?"
Me: "Been busy with works, what do you want to know?"
D: "Though busy with works, once in a while you got to get service your salami"
Me: "Huh?"
N (a girl): "Mike, your antenna very short-lah"
Then when I got back home, I did a wikipedia on "SALAMI" and....

"Salami is cured sausage, fermented and air-dried. Salami may refer specifically to a class of salumi (the Italian tradition of cured meats), where an individual sausage or style of sausage (e.g. Genoa) would be referred to with the singular Italian form salame."
Then I finally know what he meant by servicing my salami. Hmm... interesting.
It had been a while since I last got my salami serviced. Right now at the moment, my salami perhaps look like this.

Got caught up in the net. If they can regard guy's part as salami, I am wondering what do you call for the opposite sex? Any idea?
ps: it had been a great fun night, thanks to dave for the dinner & guiness draught.

Malaysian Drama Is More Interesting Than TVB Drama
2008 saw a new time high in Malaysia's political scene. 8th March 2008, the political tsunami finally taught the ever-arrogant BN a lesson. Though the BN still ruling the country by a simple majority, it seems that the Dollah government does not seem to know how to please the people. We were slapped with a 41% petrol price hike (it's still seriously painful to most of us) then come this July a 18% increase of electricity for residence, in which earlier this year Najib brushed off news of price hike in petrol, this indicates that Ministers also human, they do LIE. Our PM also lied, making the tag team of Dollah-Najib Liar Liar. Then we have SAPP issue. More interestingly, read this following article, to believe or not to believe, totally up to you. So much more drama to watch and I cannot wait till the finale.

Sorry for the non-update for the past few days, there is no other reason than work that is keeping me away from other personal stuff. Got to also accompany mygirlfriend friend. This morning slept at 4AM, went to this new nightclub in PJ, The Vivo Club (you know those club with overpriced Swing & with GROs sitting with you), blardy tired and sleepy now.
Today after work will be away for Mahjong and over the weekend I participated in some game organized by the Mix.FM Roadrunner team, I won the premiere screening for Run Fatboy Run.

Signing off for now. Though market is bad, I wonder why the corporate sales side (my department) is doing so well. It must be me... AHEM AHEM... must be I am a damn good strategist *perasan*
Back to work now... DUH?!?!?
