Pre-Last Day @ Work
Big THANK YOU to the two bosses, Stanley & Avelyn. Just after I tendered my resignation on the 1st August. They had been talking, comforting and listening to me. To the extent they even asked me to stay with a better package but I had made my decision to venture elsewhere. Past one week, I got to know my two bosses better, we had good dinner twice for the past one week @ Renaissance & Hilton, PJ. But the past one week too, I had not been talking a single word to my communist boss. But what is over, just let it be, I will cherished the good times I had here.
Yesterday was my farewell lunch together with all my other colleagues. Thanks to Avelyn for initiating it for me. Then evening went to Starbucks, Mont Kiara for a drink with a friend. They also have this flea market there.
Got back home, watched some TVB serials until about 1.30am then head to bed. Counting down to Friday...

Jogoya Food Review
Everyone's favourite but certainly not me. Gigantic raw oyster, super fresh. If there is a competition on eating this, Sifu Yip & Meow will win. They took a total of 40 pieces.
Tempura : Unlike Sushi King/Genki Sushi, you can really taste the flesh of the prawn. Very crispy too.
Black Pepper Steak : We tried this out because we wanna make full use of the stove. Not very nice. We made it TOO well done.
Steam Fish In Soy Sauce : Very fresh & tasty.
Sate : Of course lar, japanese satay cannot be compared with Kajang's. Anyway, just to show the variety of food found there.
Desserts!!! Too many choices, I am totally spoilt that night.

Jogoya Japanese Buffet - Field Report
When : 5th August 2006, Time : 6pm ~ 9.30pm
Where : Jogoya, Relish Floor, Starhill
Who : Me, my gf, Sifu Yip & Meowmeow
Damage : RM 101.25/person plus taxes
Enviroment : Cosy, Classy, Good place to impress a girl on your 1st date.
Field Report : Starhill had upgraded so much, instead of the normal number flooring (eg : Ground Floor, 1st Floor, etc), it had a special name designated for each floor. Parked my car @ Starhill Gallery, flat rate RM 5. Entered the lift, we were just guessing the floor the restaurant suppose to be. It was RELISH floor. It was 6pm, already people mountain people sea. I was made to wonder, the new generation of new breed bengs & lians r so rich to enjoy such a luxury. Waited for Sifu & Meow, they went to the wrong floor becos they were conned by Meow's colleague. Have to make our payment at the counter. It was RM 405 for 4 persons in total. We went in, were guided to our reserved area. Quite nice & cosy. We sat very near to the area where they placed gigantic fresh oysters.
While we were seated, a guy in a uniform explain to us as it was our very 1st experience there. There are 2 stove and a few paper clips on the table. The waiter is explaining to us the whole thing, but we were blurr as he spoke in a language which I found it hard to understand. I just nodded and said OK.
So we went on our quest, first thing my gf grabbed was a full plate of oysters and sashimi. The buffet counter is simply huge. They have all this fresh raw stuff (sashimi, oyster, squid, etc) at one area. Then a chinese cuisine counter where they serve various dim sums. Procced on, u will come to Indian cuisine counter, with steak cooked in curries. Next to it Italianis with Pastas, Chicken Pie, etc. Then the teriyaki & teppanyaki counter. Drink counter, dessert counter. A dedicated coffee area. I just could not take any picture and only manage to take a snap shot on the dessert area. Too many counters lar... I do not think I mentioned it all here...
Overall : Suffering!!! Too many good food which some we are unable to try. Worth every single ringgit & cents.
My advice : Go in a group, perhaps 10 will be good, as you will be given a VIP card then you can enjoy additional stuff like King Crab which is only served for VIPS.

My Sincere Wish & Hope
When my buddy splurted out the news, he almost broke into tears... of all my years knowing him, this is the 1st time I see him in that way... it touched my heart really... we just couldnt console him as we got no right and we are not in his position to feel how to take the pressure and stress... how about his wife? It is their first child...
In my sincere heart, I pray to God for better things to come for him and bless the child with a prosperous healthy life... This is the best I can do for my fellow buddy...

Bad Day ~ Daniel Powter
Where is the moment we need at the most
You kick up the leaves and the magic is lost
They tell me your blue skies fade to grey
They tell me your passion's gone away
And I don't need no carryin' on
You stand in the line just to hit a new low
You're faking a smile with the coffee to go
You tell me your life's been way off line
You're falling to pieces everytime
And I don't need no carryin' on
Chorus
Cause you had a bad day
You're taking one down
You sing a sad song just to turn it around
You say you don't know
You tell me don't lie
You work at a smile and you go for a ride
You had a bad day
The camera don't lie
You're coming back down and you really don't mind
You had a bad day
You had a bad day
Well you need a blue sky holiday
The point is they laugh at what you say
And I don't need no carryin' on
Repeat Chorus
Sometimes the system goes on the blink
And the whole thing turns out wrong
You might not make it back and you know
That you could be well oh that strong
And I'm not wrong
So where is the passion when you need it the most
Oh you and I
You kick up the leaves and the magic is lost
Repeat Chorus
I include the lyrics in the case you guys can sing along while having a bad day. A very nice song.
