Nuffnang Removed Me From Glitterati

The joy of blogging from my new toy was shortlived when I found this message while trying to ping my post into innit. I hope this is an error and this is pretty demotivating as I had been pro-Nuffnang as a blogger & a client.

Sad... damn sad...

UPDATES (12.45PM): Robb of Nuffnang emailed me, my membership will be restored, it is going to take about 4 days. This is due to the reason that I registered 2 blogs under the same account, and I had recently deleted the other abandoned blog from blogspot. Thanks Robb for the prompt feedback!!!

Once again Nuffnang make it happen for the bloggers. I was scratching my head a bit when I receive a call & an email about this. After much research and surfing the advertiser's site. I found it pretty interesting as I am one of the millions of Red Devils around the world.

Watch this video below, it's really worth watching. Ronaldo's secret finally revealed. This gonna blow the blogosphere for a while.

How To Attract Innit Nuffnangers To Nang You?

Most of the time my traffic will come from the Malaysia's No.1 blog aggregator, Project Petaling Street. But on a beautiful quiet rainy Sunday today, I did not post up a very much anticipated political drama and yet I have a decent uniques today thanks to innit-nuffnang. So curious, I did a bit of research which I felt would be useful for new nuffies who are utilizing innit.

Post up anything related to sex! As long as you can relate any word in English vocab that can be related to sex, you will definitely be nang-ed, I can god guaran-DAMN-tee that. It's proven! I made a quick check on the top 10 most popular innit post, whether it is all time popular, monthly, weekly or even the last 24 hours, anything related to sex will make it to the top 10. So write about sex, like I wrote about how a friend MSN me to talk about his kukujiao got infected by pimples. Even after famous DANG-ers like Tiuniasing danged, trust me, you will still be in the top 10. For no reason though, I seem to enjoy the danging from Tiuniasing, he had with him self-made fame (thinking out of the box), smart ass.

Another keyword that will attract nangs would be anything related to Nuffnang (for eg: innit, nuffies). It seems like nuffies enjoy reading about sex & nuffnang. Politics can never really make it to the top though.

Besides applying the right keyword, you can attract nangs but nanging others but of course I believe while you nanging others, your self ego will prevent you from nanging those who already got many many nangs, so that you got a chance to get to the top 10. Haha... got you there other guilty nuffnangers! If your post title is boring and yet you made it to the top 10, it is either you are freaking active in the chatbox or you nang a lot on other post so out of courtesy the other nuffnangers will nang you back.

Thanks for all the nangs from the previous post. Hope the tips above can trigger some other new nuffnangers to do something about their post. As for me, I blogged about shits, theoritically I am not good at writing about sex, I am good practically :)

When is the next whatever nuffnang gathering you nuffnangers organizing? Never really booze-ing with any of them though.

Cheers!

Old Poll Retired, New Nuffnang Poll Kicks Off

I started a Nuffnang poll called "Prime Minister of Malaysia" not too long ago, about 100ish participated and here are my findings.

First question, "Who performed the best as PM for Malaysia since independence?". As expected Tun Dr Mahathir was elected the best performed PM, I too got to agree with this. Many perhaps are saying that the current political turmoil in BN was caused by Tun himself but look around us in Malaysia, whether you like it or not, Tun Mahathir did put Malaysia recognised in the world.

My second question was, "Who is the worst PM for Malaysia since independence?". Without me further elaborating, Dollah won this time around thanks for his flip-flopping and occassionally caught napping in meetings.

Many are unsatisfied with Dollah's administration at the moment. Many are unhappy and wanted change. Just like the rest, I would love to see the coming of Sept 16.

Finally, when asked who will be their most preferred choice to be the new PM replacing Dollah, Anwar garnered the most votes, followed closely by the No.1 blogger in Malaysia, Raja Petra while Najib can barely be seen with just a 11% votes.

Guess most of mikemmery's readers are opting for a change too. With Achmed case now put to rest (he had since been suspended for 3 years), Dollah biggest enemy now is the man who handpicked him as the PM. Tun Mahathir was reported to return to UMNO but... but... his membership will due to the current president's approval. Let's see the drama there. For once, BN looks like an underdog this time around.

Oh ya, I started a new poll, please do play a part of it. Thanks to all previous voters.

Got to run for my pint of Guinness now.

Ciaoz!

Yuen Buffet Steamboat - Frightening Experience

Bumped into few bloggers accidentally over dinner a while ago, to be exact bumped into Stewie, Samantha, KY & partner. We happened to dine in the same steamboat restaurant, Yuen Buffet Steamboat in Sunway Mentari.

All pictures courtesy of KYSpeaks in his earlier post about this buffet steamboat outlet. To be frank, besides it is cheap, I am not totally overwhelmed or over excited about this steamboat place. I see people flooding this place, and I do not freaking understand people fight for food here. Damn it, I mean there will be scene like hungry ghosts lining up and pushing their way through just for CHICKEN WINGS. Niamah!

After dinner, chatted a little with Tim, he enlightened me on something, this blardy Yuen Restaurant is like a bomb, waiting to be exploded anytime. We both do not remember seeing water sprinkles or fire extinguishers in this building and it is a hazardous place really to dine. It is pretty frightening after he mentioned that to me. And sorry to Sam for the smoke (sorry, I indeed know you are allergic to smoke), KY you are too big to know me lar, I am just a small ikan bilis in this blogosphere. Keke... Anyway nice to meet you & your partner.

Thank Buddha it's holiday, I never like Monday Blues. Hope can catch a movie later with *ahem*

What Happen To Nuffnang Global CPC Ads?

Guys & gals, I noticed lately, I had not been receiving ads even I set to Global-CPC settings. I am just wondering if any other bloggers having the same experience? My 2nd blog also experiencing the same.

And perhaps Nuffnang can get someone to be active in famous forum like lowyat.net, there is a discussion thread about Nuffnang vs Advertlets. Hope that I will get some ads soon.

And for LG KS20 enthusiasts, I had been having difficulties looking for a screen protector to protect my finger print magnet KS20, I found one compatible in this site. Wondering anyone had actually tried applying it? Need some advice.

Beautiful Sunday, the Devils is a step closer to be crowned the EPL champion. See you on Monday guys!

TGIF Voucher From Nuffnang

I had a very bad backache this morning that I had to take time off from work, something that I cannot afford to do due to my action-packed schedule before the CNY. Went to consult doctor, doctor said it's dislocation of my back joint during sleep. Not feeling used to staying home, I MSN-ed Timmy to meet up @ The Curve to collect the TGIF voucher that i won earlier for the TGIF posting.

So here I am blogging from Starbucks, Curve. Was pretty lazy to write as I am lack of inspiration lately and the creative part of mine just fail to shine. The timezone connection today pretty bad that the only site that I had no problem accessing is the blogspot. Was surfing & blog hopping political blogs and in this posting I would love to share some sites that actually worth a visit to read and to know what is actually happening in our Boleh-land.

Let me introduce Nathaniel who blogs at jelas.info , I came to know him (not really in person), during the time he was arrested by the police. Went to a few of his forum after his release to share his experiences & saw him a few times during talks by the Coalition Party. Also check out Nat's gf who blogs at PolyTikus.

Another political blog that I visit almost daily would be ScreenShots by the famous Malaysian Blog Godfather. Knew him through his blog and eventually met up with him a few times during LG Mobile function & meeting. A very down to earth man who catches attention almost immediately when he talks.

Rant blog by the daughter of former PM of Malaysia, Marina Mahathir is another worth read. She recently wrote about the breakdown of Streamyx service, that is what prompt me to voice my dissatisfaction here as well. She even wrote of thinking to get the Maxis broadband, and Maxis did called her up to offer a free trial. And personally, I do hope some Maxis people read my blog as I had my fair share of ups & downs using the broadband. As of now, the customer service who attended to my call most of the time did not fail me providing me infos that I need. But when comes to broadband, I am a little upset, due to the fact that I cannot cancel the service as according to the contract I had signed up for 18 months agreement. I do hope that Maxis can grant my wish to terminate the service as I would still continue my postpaid services with them. To pay RM138 for a service that I rarely use, I rather use the remaining amount on my mobile. Can someone in Maxis enlighten me pls?

While blogging this, Tim arrived with Samantha handled me the long awaited voucher. Thanks Timmy (like he reads my blog :P ) & Sam of course. Let's catch up another day.

This will a super dull post without pictures, as the bad timezone connection here does not allow me to do so. Will be back tomorrow as Wednesday officially a national public holiday. Geez... one thing good about this country is that we have plenty of holidays.

Hmm... with the voucher who should I call out for dinner leh? Or who is willing to be my date for dinner in TGIF or Itallianies??? Anyone??? *sob sob*

Nuffnang vs Advertlets vs Nufflets

For the past few days, I received 3 emails from the above mentioned blog advertising networks. Without me elaborating more, I believe many would have receive Josh's crybaby long-winded mail explaining how he forgot to renew his site's domain. Best part is what you know? There is a line saying this "Whose fault is this? OURS", so say sorry? Pay money lah! It is like Josh offering you a packet drink, then you realise it had expired, then he apologizes claiming he forgot that it had expired... wtf??? Josh, go watch this and who cares if you going to launch your v2.0 in Feb???.... SILENCE!!! Or I'll Kill You!!!

Then I received another mail from yet another new bird in the blog advertising industry, Nufflets. To be frank, the mail was a reply to my question. Pretty prompt feedback by the owner himself, I shall give him the benefit of the doubt about his company survival in the blogosphere. My question were simple, "Why Nufflets?" Actually I roughly got the idea why it was called Nufflets, just that I want to see if this man is like the romeo above who will eventually get his company collapse. Impressive, indeed he is "Dr. Chua Soi Lek" enough to admit it was a copycat the word "NUFF" from NUFFnang and "LETS" from AdvertLETS. Good one Nabil, I am pretty sure you can do far better off than your ex-boss :)

Always save the best for last - you can labelled me as a pro-Nuffnang or whatever terms you wanna call it but the fact is I had never receive a single lame mail from Nuffnang before. Whether it is computer generated mail blast or not, thanks to Samantha, some of the Nuffnangers will be eligible to join the Nuffnang Exclusivity Program - The Nuffnang Glitterati. I am one of those Glitteratis and will enjoy far more benefits than those who put up other advertisements from other ad network in his/her blog. To all of my blogger friends who got their blog sites robbed last weekend, it is still not too late, Glitteratis campaign will be officially launched on the 13th January 2008. So guys & gals.... THE POWER IS IN YOUR HAND :P

ps: This is not an advertorial. I am not paid to write this :)
